She was cracking me up the other night. She said she’d dressed up to go to her doctor appointment on Monday. It was the first time she’d really dressed up, done her hair, put on makeup, and worn jewelry in a long time. She said if she was going to get bad news, she was going to look good doing it. 
Anyhow.
She told my stepdad that since she didn’t have cancer and she wasn’t going to be losing her hair, she was going to do something with it. She’s gonna cut and color (highlight) it. As long as she has it, she wants it to look good.
She has a list of things that she wants to do every day around the house. but as long as they consistently get taken care of, they'll have more time to do what they want without having to worry about the house.
She has decided that Abby needs a playmate. So… They’re looking for another Chihuahua puppy. Not my speed, but whatever makes her happy.
She also said that they are going to start going back to church, whether they feel like it or not. Apparently, there have been problems there and their pastor is leaving. Keith really liked him, so since they’ve been having trouble, they haven’t really gone much. Plus, with mom being sick, she hasn’t been able to, really. A lot of their friends have left. But, then, this church is known to have problems, too. Anyhow. She told Keith that on Sunday, they were getting up and going somewhere. She didn’t care where. But they were going to start looking for some place they could go. She will pull herself out of bed whether she's tired or not.
She said she wants her laundry/craft room cleaned out. After she has her surgery, she won’t be able to do a whole lot, but she will be able to sit and use her embroidery machine, so she’s going to sew as much as she can. She already has a list of projects lined up! LOL!
It just amazes me that she goes through what she does and comes out smelling like a rose every time.

Good for her! It's so important to feel good about yourself and I'm glad that she has renewed vim and vigor.
