We have both the floor model and the crib model (which now is on the floor in Liz's bedroom for her to play with).
She has loved both of these. We got the big one when she was a month old, and she plays with it still (she is 11 months). It has been the best present that we have gotten for her.
The crib one we use as a "portable" toy for her. It packs ok in a suitcase (its flat) and it is somethign from home for her to play with.
