okay, my MIL is usually pretty helpful but verrryyyyy "opinionated". she's gives her damn advice all the time. (sorry if im ranting here but im sooo pissed).
anyways, we had lil carpet larvae in our apartment, it was there BEFORE we moved in. but we had an exterminator come and all. i called my MIL because i have no one else to talk to and i was frantic and crying bc i saw bugs squirming around. and she just scoffed on the phone but was polite still.
later on that evening, she comes by and talks to me and my husband and said OH GOD ur tub is TOTALLy gross, theres rings everywhere (the only ring there is is ONE, from my razor gel container thing). and then she goes on and on about how when she raised her 2 boys, the floor was so clean u could eat off it bc she cleaned every day. and then she looked at me and said:
"Brody (husband) goes to work everyday and you shouldnt make him clean, esther. You should clean since he comes home and brings home the money." the nerve...
then she says:
"and Esther, I know that you were raised in wealthy to do family and you had maids and such so thats probably why you can't clean"
THATS BULL. i KNOW how to clean. my family never ALWAYS had maids . i know how ot clean, and the fact that she brings that up and makes me feel so crappy bout myself drives me nuts.
and you know what else is lame? she has a maid coming to her houes once a week to clean. she doesnt even work full time. about 25 hrs a week, and she cant clean her damn house herself? she pisses me off
she has NO idea, how demanding chace is. i know she has had kids as well before, but they were HER kids, my child is DIFFERENT! i cant let himc ry too long bc of his vomitting problem and i cant seem to getanything done but i do try.!!! KLDFJLKDSJFKLJEWKLF

Then next time she even mentions something about your "skills" or priorities you can mention to her that you'd be more then willing to let her help you in any of these areas!!
