I just got a new puppy a few months ago(a female Shih Tzu) and I already have a male Peekapoo who's 2 years old. Well the Peekapoo is very jealous of the new dog. Today he attacked her because she got too close to his face. The Peekapoo has never been aggressive in the 2 years that I've had him. He doesn't even bite the baby when he grabs his tail. He just licks him. I've tried my best to show them both equal attention but it doesn't seem to be helping. Does anyone have any advice?

Is the new puppy spayed yet? or the older dog neutered. If one or both of them is still intact it's probably a hormonal thing. I'm sure you're older dog is trying to assert his dominance over the new pup. He was there first its his house, etc. Spaying or neutering will probably help that some.
They may need to be separated unless supervised for awhile. Put them together on more neutral territory can help too. Hopefully this helps because not all dogs get along with other dogs and even ones that get along with most people and animals don't get along with all of them.

I'm getting them both fixed and I hope that helps. I don't want my puppies to fight.

That "Should" really help. The hormone overload can be annoying.
