The custody dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's baby enters its next round Friday when a judge plans to discuss who will raise the infant after DNA tests showed Larry Birkhead is her biological father.

I wish her a happy life. Although, I wonder if she wasn't the child of someone famous and likely to inherit a fortune, would all these people be fighting over her?

I'm glad that Stern is going to stand behind the biological father. If he (Birkhead) gets sole custody I also hope that he allows Anna's mom to be a part of Dannielynn's life.

I am with Lisa, I do not like Virgie. She and Anna Nicole did not have a relationship themselves so why bend over backwards to include her in the babys life.
I am so happy that he was shown to be the bio-dad!

I'm not real impressed with anybody involved. I think the majority of them are after the money that the baby might or might not inherit. And Lenora, you're probably right. If it weren't the child of someone famous, they probably wouldn't be going through all of this. Sad, isn't it.

I saw an interview with one of Anna's best friends a few weeks ago. She said she was 99% certain that Birkhead was the father. Guess she was right. He seems like a nice guy.

Stern gives me the heeby-jeebies. Maybe he hasn't done anything wrong, but it just looks fishy some of the things that have happened when he's been around. And the way he handled himself in court didn't show him to be much of a lawyer.

Grandma hasn't had a relationship with Anna in years. They hadn't even talked in... how long???? She didn't show up when Danny died. She wanted to go against Anna's wishes on a lot of things. It would be nice if the baby knew who she was, but I certainly wouldn't want her getting custody of the baby.

I just hope someone is able to give the baby a stable home and a somewhat normal life.

Larry Birkhead was actually fighting over this child before Anna Nicole died, which would leave me thinking he was necessarily expecting to receive any of the possible fortune.

I honestly don't have an opinoin on whether it not it makes me happy to see he is the dad ... I don't have any personal ties, so I really don't care. I just hope that baby is allowed to lead a somewhat happy, normal life. It's bad enough that she's growing up without a mother ... she shouldn't have to grow up in a media circus.

As for the grandmother ... NUTCASE!

I am so glad that he is tha father. I hope he keeps her away from Anna's crazy mother. I think he will make a wonderful father. It took alot for Stern to say what he did yesturday. I am glad he is now thinking of the childs best interest.

Anna had nothing to do with her mother for like 10 years, she is just after the money. She is a serious gold digger. That child will be better off without her. I am sure Anna would want that to.
