Poor guy

Gabe's running a little temp only 99.9, not even enough to bother calling the doctor for since it's not really a fever til 100.4 at least now I know why he was up and fussy. I gave him Tylenol, going on the dose from when he was at his 2 month appt, so it's probably not a full dose anymore. He's sleeping in the papasan now.

I wonder if it's teething? His cheeks have been really rosey for a couple days but I couldn't feel anything when I checked a few days ago. Any ideas?

low grade fever, is he drooling? My bet is teething.

He's a drool machine, but that's not new he's been doing it for awhile. He loves to naw on his hands too, but again not new. Could all of that be teeth and now he has the temp?

He's not tugging his ears or anything, I was thinking it might be an ear infection. He has his 4 month check up on Tues.
Of course I'll call sooner if his temp goes up.

It could easily all be teeth. Teeth coming in is so miserable for little ones.

I agree, it could definitely be teeth .

BUT! Nicole never tugged her ears, and she used to get an infection about once a month. There would be NO warning signs, just all of a sudden a high temperature.

So if his temp gets higher then 100.4 should I assume it's his ears and not his teeth? I really don't want him to be sick for his appt on Tues. It's so hard to get into his doc on time for shots. If I have to move them it will suck.

I would take him in anyway, because if it is an ear infection, you'll want the dr to check it out and if it's not, he can go ahead and get his shots.
