ok, so my eyelid is infected or something.
i have searched and searched and cannot find any good information on it

yesterday my outer upper eyeled was sore and puffy, this morning my whole upper eyelid is puffy, there is no sign of a stye, and my eye isn't pink.

it is a little runny though, which makes me want to rub it,

this is annoying and i am starting to look funny

Sounds like it could be pink eye (conjuntivtis). It doesn't always cause reddness. Sometimes it itches. I'm not sure you can get rid of it without a prescription. Wash your hands after touching your eye. Pink eye is very contagious. I've even gotten it from animals and had them get it from me.

Get well soon. Pink eye is very irriating.

You could also have an allergy in your eye that can cause swelling. If it was something that physically touched your eye, flushing out the eye can help. Is it painful? Or itchy?

I would go to your MD or an immediate care. I would not mess around with anything in the eye.

It could be conjunctivitis or an allergic reaction to something.

I don't know if you have contacts, but you could irrigate your eye really well with the sterile saline and see what happens. If its still irritated and there is drainage, I would see the doctor to get some antibiotic eyedrops..... I think they usually use Gentamycin here?

Good luck!

I sprayed something in my eye once (like air freshener. I can't remember what it was), but it did the same thing. I remember flushing it and that helped.
