Help! Did I forget anything?

Gary is asleep and I need to get this all out. Aren't y'all lucky?
The Twins' party is tomorrow, and I think I finally have everything ready to go.
I am expecting about 40 people to show up, thank goodness we are having it outside.
I was up to my ears in caramel popcorn earlier, but I finally have it all wrapped in cellophane bags. It took me 4 hours to make all of that popcorn, but it is so good! (Every one who comes to the party gets a bag of homemade caramel popcorn.)
Yesterday morning before I went to work I wrapped 20 kid gifts for all the kids at the party, then when I got home I put 20 pictures in frames. Each family gets a framed picture of the girls each year at their birthday party. I thought it was a cute idea for their 1st Birthday, but everyone liked it so now I do it every year.

OH CRAP! I just remembered that the space walk people need to be paid in the morning and I forgot to leave money with my Mom and Dad! CRAP! (The party is at their house.) CRAP! I am going to have to drive over there in the morning when I get up.

Okay, back to what I was saying...
PJ, Emmie, and I went to Sam's this week an filled up two baskets with food and stuff for the party, everyone should be nice and full when they leave tomorrow.
My Dad made homemade chili for the hot dogs, I forgot to buy jalapenos for the nachos, but Michelle (MeShell) said that she would pick some up for me. We are picking up the sandwiches and party trays in the morning. I have everything I need to make the meatballs, I have the cheese and a case of tortilla chips for the nacho's, 2 huge boxes of hot dogs, a case of assorted chips and a case of assorted Sun Chips, Gary bought drinks tonight and he will go in the morning to get ice and buns for the hot dogs. Oh yeah, and we have a gallon of chocolate chip ice cream and a gallon of vanilla. I think that is it, I don't *think* I forgot to buy anything, but you never know.
I have all of the decorations, no balloons because PJ is afraid of them, a huge Tinkerbell pinata and the candy & toys to go inside.
Of course, we have the cakes. One chocolate with buttercream frosting and one almond (wedding cake) with praline filling and buttercream frosting.

I think that is it, I hope I didn't forget anything. If I did, it's probably too late to do anything about it now.

Sounds perfect! You sound like me when I am doing the kids' parties. I go all out, but I figure soon enough it will be some slumber party where they tell me to get out because I am so uncool.

The boys' birthday party is in June and it willl be big because they are in separate classes at school. That alone is 36 kids without family and friends from outside of school. I'm a feeder too, so we're doing a barbeque. (Billy just bought a new grill for the occassion )

Anyway, sorry bout the hijack, we definitely need pics and lots of them!

Maree!!

Yep, they each get their own cake and they get to pick out what flavor cake and filling.
Emmie asked for 'chocolate cake with the white icing' and PJ asked for 'vanilla cake with white icing" then a few minutes later she asked for 'brown stuff in the middle' which means praline filling. I figure they have to share a party, they shouldn't have to share a cake, too!
When they get a little older they will get to choose if they want small seperate parties or one big one.

I will post the recipe in a few minutes for you.

hi yourself

Thats the way we did it too. And they aren't silly they know they get to go to each others birthdays so they usually choose to smaller parties. Except the big ones then we just have a house full of teenagers, happy happy joy joy. Actually you don't even notice them as long as they have a stereo, a play station and plenty of food they amuse themselves. Parties really do get easier as they get older

I love caramel corn but you just can't buy it over here, they only seem to have it in the supermarkets about 4 times a year I have no idea why, you can get buttered popcorn and the coloured popcorn but not caramel corn, soooooooo unfair.
