rolling isn't so cute now

My angel of a sleeper has started rolling at night. He rolls from his back to his tummy and then wakes up mad that he can't get back.

How long before he learns to roll from his tummy to his back? I hope it's today

He's been getting up twice a night the last 2 or 3 nights. Of course it's been nights where I have to work the next day too.

No idea, but Elizabeth sleeps on her tummy and started rolling to her back a month ago. She still hasn't rolled fom her back to her tummy though so it might take a while.

From what I've heard everyone else's babies LIKE sleeping on their tummies. My kid is a freak He HATES it.

He is sleeping still this morning though. He's curled up on his side with his hand under his head I took a picture it was so cute!

I'm sure all babies are different but Shane is in a nursing class and we were studying infants last week... it said that it takes about 4 - 6 weeks to learn to roll the other direction.
I can't remember how quickly my kids did it.

Mel,

Your baby is not a freak! None of my other kids liked being on their tummies and they were such horrendous spitters that they hardly were on their tummies at all. Lizzie on the other hand doesn't spit up much, but seemed to have pain that would wake her up. So desperate mommy put her on her tummy to sleep and she started sleeping so much better that I kept doing it even though I know it's not the recommended method.

All babies are different. You could maybe get him a sleep positioner to help him stay on his back all night. I had one, but my dd hated it so I sent it on to my sil.

That's the funny part. I have one. He's learned to wiggle out of it. He's been rolling for weeks now but only figure out in the last couple nights how to wiggle out of the positioner.
