Worst Pain Next To Labor

I've been up all night vomiting and had one episode of diarrhea(TMI). I've had problems with my gall bladder in the past and I haven't been able to get it taken care of because I just switched medical insurance and I had a long three months of traveling. I guess I just never really remember the pain after it's gone. Either way last night was one of the worst. I've never throw up like that and at the end I wasn't throwing up food anymore just green liquid. Has anyone else had this problem? I read online about getting your gall bladder removed before 24 weeks because it could cause preterm labor. I'm seeing midwives at a small practice and I haven't even been acquainted with my new doctor so I'm not sure what to do. I am in so much pain and haven't slept all night long. I just feel gross.

HOn you need to go to the ER, or at least call them. If you are in that much pain and throwing up that much, that is not good....

Lenora sends for you and says for you to get your butt in ther etoo (she can't get on bbu now or she would tell you the same)

You need to go to the Doctor's office, or ER... It's not good for you or the baby. On an entirely different note, is your DH being affected by the change in deployment length...

yup I agree, to the doc or the ER with you. That is NOT good to be throwing up like that. I threw up so hard sometimes that it was bloody. It's not a fun thing. You need to let them check you out and decide what to do.

My husband got extended 3 months so yes he was affected. He'll be back VERY early June. He was able to home in March for a 3 week leave so we were very lucky.

Most of the pain is gone now but I still haven't been able to sleep. I have my first prenatal appt on the 3rd but I have no one to watch my son so I don't think I'll be able to make it. It's so hard without my husband because he would easily be able to get out of work for something like this so I know I wouldn't have to miss it if he were here. Everyone I know works and I have no family around.

Ok I'm going to yell at you now YOU NEED to find someone to watch your son. Prenatal appts are IMPORTANT! Especially if you're having pain, from your gallbladder or a pregnancy problem. Don't skip it.

Oh honey. I had my gall bladder removed when I was 19 so I KNOW what kind of pain you are in. Take your son with you, the nurses will help you with him. GET SEEN. Your gall bladder is nothing to play around with, especially pregnant.

I found someone to watch Isaiah. A friend of mine who I thought worked on the 3rd has the day off and she's going tow atch him. I'm so relieved. I really look forward to the prenatal checkups and didn't want to miss it.

and hon when it comes to your check ups, bring your son with you. Liz came to every one of mine And if the staff dont like it, then they are in the wrong job. SOme moms have no choice but to bring their kids in with them

And please....at least call your dr or the local ER and see what they say (if you should go in sooner rather than later).....if you are throwing up that much then you need to make sure you are not dehydrated

Definitely take your son with you to the doctor if you can't find anyone to watchhim. It's better than missing your appointments.

I had my gall bladder removed when I was pregnant with Elizabeth but we didn't know I was pregnant yet. I would think if it needs to come out, early is better. Also pregnancy tends to make things worse and you could wind up with another attack right after the baby is born. I know 2 different people who've had to go into the hospital for gall bladder surgery with 1 week old infants. Not exactly a good time for surgery.

i hope you are doing better

i agree to take Isaah with you if you can't find someone to watch him, the dr's offices are used to kids.
