Foreign Languages?

I'm posting this here because it covers all age ranges. Have any of you taught your kids another language? Anyone ever used Muzzy or the new Hooked on Phonics language programs?

Just curious... We have some German stuff for the girls, but it's just audio not visual. I ordered Muzzy for them today since I think Sammie is going to a German Kindergarten in the fall.

I would have ordered Hooked on Phonics, but they only offer Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese??? . I like their products though...

Just curious if anyone else is teaching their kids languages. If we like the German one, we are going to purchase a second language from them (more than likely Spanish)

Joey has a number of German-English books that we read together (well, I read them then translate them). I've taught him some simple things - counting to ten, colors, things like that, but my grammar is terrible, and I'd love for him to have real instruction.

we're doing sign language. I used to know quite a bit when I was younger because my Grandma was deaf. We use it for a bunch of things already and as I relearn more I just keep adding it.

We're learning Spanish and Latin.

I would LOVE to incorporate Muzzy into our homeschooling if we could just afford it! Plus I think Issac is at an age where he could benefit as well!
