Ok, this one neighbor kid is really starting to get on my nerves big time. he's only 3 but I think should be over this kind of behavior....
He comes over and instead of knocking on the door, just yells in the windows or throws open the door and just barges on in! Then I end up having to argue with him and forcibly put him out of the house to get him to leave. Then he usually still stands there yelling in the window to the boys. Now, if I have the boys inside when it's as nice as its been, it's for a good reason, and this being intruded upon like this is really annoying me. Yesterday, I was trying to leave with the boys to go get our dinner, and the kid wouldn't leave. It took me over 15 minutes, when his mother finally bothered to come get him, to get rid of the kid. The last week here is the first time in the three years we've lived here I've ever had to lock my door. My boys are not saints I admit, but when they go over, they knock on the the door and if told he can't play, they come right home. Another problem is Eric is doing a bunch of work on the trailor to get ready to sell it, so we have gutters, and ladders and a bunch of other tools and stuff he is using in the on and around the porch. The kid will not leave stuff alone! Yesterday I had to actually yell at him and pull him away to get him to quit trying to jump on our new gutters! He kept grabbing smaller stuff and trying to run off with it. Picking up stuff and throwing it at the house. And his mom is usually right on her front porch two down from us( we're fairly close together - I can hear from inside my trailor when the kids are being spoken to) but shes always on the freaking phone, and won't put it down to gt her kid. Like yesterday - she's actually telling the person she was talking to the suff her kid was doing and laughing instead of putting down the freaking phone and getting a handle on her freaking kid! I was so close to blowing my stack....she's otherwise a very nice and friendly person, and I don't want to be a b#%%, but somethings gotta be done about this kid. I shouldn't have to keep my front door locked at all times to keep someone elses kid from just busting on on in......
