Does this make any sense at all?

My brother's girlfriend is a photographer and she had a photo that I really loved so as a gift she had it blown up and professionally framed for me.
Problem is, now that I've moved the orange/red mat and black frame (It's not as Halloweeny as it sounds) don't match my house. The picture would still look great in here though.
Does it make any sense at all to rip apart a $120 frame job (it's backed and everything) to redo the photo with a Walmart mat & frame?

Gosh . . . I couldn't do that and would try to find a way to "make" it work with my house. It is a gift meaning you can do what you want with it though!

I wouldn't either. I'd try to make it fit somewhere in my home. I wouldn't take a chance on ruining it.

Yeah... I think I'm just gonna stick it in a closet for now (it won't match anywhere in the house) and have a new print made to frame cheaply. I would definitely ruin everything but the print to pull it out of the framing it's in now.
