Are my children normal?

I feel like I'm constantly telling my older two to be nice to each other. They intentionally do things just to be mean to the other one. Zach will walk by and Haley will stick her foot out and trip him, then he starts crying and hits her back and she starts screaming at him swearing it was an accident in the first place. I've seen that scenario so many times...It drives me absolutely crazy.

Things like that happen here too.

Its normal, didnt you fight with your siblings? Sibling rivalry. Around here it can get bad at times. Then they both go to their rooms till they can be nice.

Very normal. Irritating but normal.

Oh gosh! All 3 of mine do that. It's amazing how many times a day I have to break up a fight. Right along those same lines ... how can they make so many messes in a day???

Elaine that is something I have wondered about my older 2 for along time now. They are 20 and 16 and hardly say anything to each other unless is it to snarl at each other!

My older 3 have days like that. Ofcourse they cut it out really quick when I ground them for a couple of days.

I didn't do stuff like that with my sisters, but from what I hear it's normal.

I do remember fighting with my siblings but from my perspective it wasn't that bad. I watch my kids though and just wonder how in the world they can be so mean to each other. Don't they know how much they'll cherish their siblings when they are older.

My mom says that my brother and I didn't really fight much.

No sibling rivalry in this house either. One thing I don't have to worry about with a 75% chance he'll be an only.
