He's four and still wears diapers to bed

Aaron has had dry nights many times but pretty much has a full diaper when he wakes up. Is this normal? Moms of boys, please tell me I am not alone.

TJ is 5 and still wears pull ups. I just don't have the energy to deal with it right now. Cody is 7 and maybe 6 months ago, quit wearing them. However, it's a battle with him because he sleeps so deeply that we have to wake him up at least once a night to go to the bathroom (which means *I* have to get up as well).

You're NOT alone.

Logan is 5.5 and still wears a pull up to bed and the norm is for it to be wet in the am. I have no answers for ya since I have the same problem.

my Logan is four and in a pull up every night, actually a good night every night as he soaks through a pull up.

i'm not stressing over it, boys just take longer sometimes i'm told

And I was wondering why they make diapers for 50 pounders!

Nick is wearing a pull up to bed, he is only 3....He normally wakes up dry....but I can guarantee that he will be soaked all the way through if we don't put him on the toilet before we go to bed at night

This is what my ped had said to do. She said that it took her son two weeks. We tried it for only four nights before we gave up. Yes we wimped out but we were exhausted from getting up and changing the bedding each night. Jeff has six days off in a row in a couple of weeks so I guess that would be a good time to try again. We'll just have to prepare for it.

When JEff has those days off that would be the perfect time to try again GOod luck

we wussed out with the just letting him wet the bed thing... maybe we will try it again someday

good luck!

It's definitely a two-person thing, just like waking to feed the baby in the middle of the night so long ago.

It's a lot of work, isn't it???

Trey is 5.4 months and still wears one. We are wet every night. I wish they weren't but no such luck. I tried the "without pullup" thing and it just got me more flustrated. So back to pull ups.

Nick is almost 4 and is fully trained. Has been for a few months now. He hasn't wet a diaper or the bed at night since he was 2 though. He's backwards. I had more trouble with day training. My other boys were night trained at 3 and 4 yrs old.
Well I think Issac was trained when he was 3.5...we still had accidents occasionally but I think he trained better than Rach, actually.

Darien was 4 1/2 when he stopped wearing pull ups to bed. Jonas was 4 in February and still has to wear pull ups at night. I don't think it's abnormal.

I have no real advice.... as soon as mine were consistant during the day I put them in underwear at night too....after one or two accidents they got it.

I am super fortunate because all mine were Potty trained and night trained by 3yrs. There have been very few accidents and they are usually when it's been a super long day and the kids were exhausted to the point of passing out.Jess turned 4 in march and I haven't had a pull-up in the house for well over a year.

All righty, guess I'll be patient. The buggers are just so expensive and I hate filling landfills with them for this long.

Another problem: The diapers keep leaking so I'm getting up probably most nights lately to change him as well as the wet sheets. What's the deal??? Any suggestions on what will keep this kid from soaking the bed at night? He wears Luvs.

Huggies overnights? We tried and didn't like them. I thought they smelled. Really makes you want to try them, huh?

Hmm, do they smell before or after use?
Why not pull ups at night? I found that they hold more than your average diaper.
Dollar General has a Generic one that runs 17 Like "Goodnights" that hold more and you get 17 for $7 here. I think I get 14 Goodnights for $9. The night time one hold more pee.

I would've thought that a diaper would hold more. Okay, I'll try pull ups. They are just so bloody expensive!

goonights hold more than pull ups
