Farewell my Friend

I got the call I dreaded Tuesday. My pony was finally just too old and my trainer said it was Time to let him go. I was hoping he could hold out until I went to CA in 2 weeks but I guess he just got tired. They put him down so he would not suffer more.

It was not unexpected, but it is hard still. My mom bought him for me when he and I were 10 or 11 (we can't remember lol) and he turned 31 this last April. He was my best friend for so long I hated leaving him when Dh and I moved away but knew it was better for him. I have visited when I could, and like I said I was hoping to see him one more time and let my daughter meet him...but Time waits for no one

I'm so sorry! It sounds like he had a nice long life. It is amazing how long horses can live.
