I just heard on the news that she died less then an hour ago in her home. She was the wife of President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Here's her Wiki link with her information.

She lived as a widow for 34 years. Could you imagine living without your spouse for THAT LONG!?!?!?

I hadn't heard much about her lately. I told my husband and he said, "I thought she was already dead." We lost my dad in 1977 and my mom is still alive. She was never interested in anyone else. I guess Lady Bird wasn't either.

Kimmer, I know what you mean!
From everything I have read about Lyndon Johnson, I can see why she would not have remarried. He was not exactly a faithful and doting husband.
