Sit N Stand

Zach's just turned 3 and likes to walk alot but still gets tired and Noah is almost 15 motnhs and likes to walk but runs, falls and needs to ride. I was thinking of a sit and stand for vacation mostly but also for around town.

Problem is I have a lot of strollers but Mike said we could get the SNS if I wanted. I just hate to have it be waste. I figure it's essentially a single with the option that Zach could sit if he needs to and if not I can put my bags there on the bench. I already own a great In Step swivel wheel double jogger (too heavy to travel with and the storage stinks), Peg Perego Aria Twin (light weight but again the storage stinks and wheels are so small it's really for indoor trips like mall, shopping, etc) and a Graco Duoglider (the big tandem that is super heavy, has good storage and is comfy but a lot of the time Zach doesn't want to ride and he can't get in and out easily with Noah in the front--this one is 37 lbs empty and is really hard to get in and out of the car and through security at the airport plus with 37 lds plus 18 pds plus gear it's a bear to push).

So what do you all think? BESIDES I need to sell some of what I have now. I know I have a serious addiction to strollers. I didn't even mention my single strollers...a Zooper jogger, Chicco umbrella, snap n go and a regular single (which I loaned out).

What I'm looking for is someone to tell me they love their sit n stand...anyone????

Well, it's been a couple years but I had the older one and LOVED the thing. The new ones have more storage then mine, but even with the old one I had I had plenty of room and it was nice to just be able to let my older one hop on and off when needed instead of lifting him in and out.

I had one and absolutely loved it!!!! It was an older Peg Perego.....when my friend had baby #3 she got one and loves it (hers was a newer peg perego-0-about 3 years old now), and she has just had baby #4 a year ago, so its gettting a lot of use!!

there is no problem with having an addiction to buying strollers,... they are a fancy accesory to go along with your baby. Many of the fancy strollers have been known to cause children discomfort, so becarefull that your not letting your stroller adiction get in the way with your childs comfort.

Re: Sit N Stand

I am a recovering stroller addict (until I find another one I want anyhow :P ). One of the many strollers that I own is the Sit and Stand. It's perfect for the situation you describe. When my second daughter was born my oldest was just shy of four and dealing with developmental delays. She tired very quickly when walking. The Sit and Stand was perfect for family outings. I loved that stroller. Now my middle daughter is 2.5 and my youngest just turned 1 and I'm dusting off my Sit and Stand for our summer outings.

Re: Sit N Stand

We did end up buying it but mainly use a single Maclarren umbrella for Noah when we travel now.
