HARTFORD, Connecticut (AP) -- State officials are re-examining their policies after learning two convicted burglars out on parole are accused of killing three family members during a home invasion and arson.

Ok, so these two each had 20 burglaries on their records, and they are walking the street? I realize that burglary isn't a violent crime, but still. What good to any jail time have? They obviously weren't rehabilitated, so we (the taxpayers) paid to feed and house these people for however-long and got nothing in return.
