I'm so f'ing tired of hearing the word NO.

Do you want to eat? No
Want to play? no
please pick up your spoon. No
lets take a nap. No
Did you want to watch Backyardagains or Blues Clues? No

OH MY GOSH SOMEONE HELP ME before I bodyslam Dylan into next week!!! (ONLY kidding for the extremeists)

Really.. the kids says NO to everything, even if it's yes he says No.
I especially hate it when I tell him to do something it's always NO.

Smacking his mouth isn't working, as we've been doing it for 6+ months...

Oh, I remember those days.

What I did was just ignore his answer. Don't ask him to clean his room - just tell him it's going to be done, and do it (yes, he will scream and holler - let him). And if you can trick him into answering no to something he really wants to do, be sure and stick to it - like ask him if you can share an ice cream with him, and when he says no, DON'T. Seems mean, but he needs to get through his head that no means NO.

Good luck, hon!

Ohh! I like that idea! How clever!

TJ is all into this "opposite day" crap and that drives me batty as well! No means yes, yes means no, "I hate you" instead of "I love you". It seems every day is opposite day around here!

At least the "NO" days are over with, for the most part. I feel for ya Robyn!
