How are your pets handling the heat?

We got Wally this new deluxe water bowl on sale at Big Lots. It's really nice. It cools and filters the water. It has a little waterfall thing to keep the water fresh.

He won't drink from it. He drinks from the leaky hot water faucet in the bathtub. So that's how he's doing. He's drinking hot water and hanging out in the bathtub all summer. Weird cat.

My furry children are doing fine. They stay inside most of the time anyways. When I let them out to do their business I don't let them stay out too long. Missy actually doesn't like to stay outside much anyways...she wants to be inside where I am. She is such a momma's dog. Taffy loves it outside and when it is nice out I let her stay out there a while but when it's this hot I have her come inside as soon as she is done.

I don't think my cats care. They love to hang out in the bathtub all the time, but no leaky faucets to drink from. Moses likes to lay in the sunbeams in the morning. It's gotta be 100 degrees sometimes, she's weird.

Mine don't care.

Kate opens a window everyday so even with the air on I am finding windows open (she open the one by my computer) My cats either lay in the sunshine or under P's crib.

Mine all live nicely in my central AC (except the frog right now who is loving the heat/humidity...he is in there terrarium under my carport for the summer) so they don't notice the heat much.
