you've ever paid for one outift for your child?



I'm pretty dern cheap but there was one Gymboree outfit that I really wanted when Brenna was little so I found it piece by piece on ebay. I still didn't pay more than $40 for the entire thing.

$25-$30 is probably the most I've spent on one outfit for any of my kids so far.

I spent about $75 total on the outfit Joey wore at my step-brother's wedding (had to buy two different suits to mix and match pieces). Luckily, he also wore it on a cruise after that, so at least it got worn a bit more.

Around $100 for an everyday outfit, $175 for a flower girl dress (that was BLACK, mind you. ) Sold that on EBay as fast as I could.

I remember that one, Dana.

I'm cheap. I think I might have splurged and spent $50 once at Gymboree. And then had buyer's remorse. But I have generally had good luck with sales and resale shops, so I try to pick things out aas chealy as I can.

I'm with you, Mel. I'm a cheapskate; I always buy on eBay or Goodwill. I was shocked to spend $17 on a pair of shoes for Aaron.

i dont understand the Gymboree line.. I mean ive seen it but it doesnt grab my attention in that way.. i think the most ive spend for an outfit for Raymond was around 75.00 and Destiny around the same

ok i take that back.... i just went to the website.. i guess i would shop there for Destiny.. they have alot of cute outfits, i just dont think she can wear them around here till december.. but for Raymond ill stick to old navy..

Think for my mom's funeral we spent around $100 or so for Gavin's outfit...he had a suit/tie/shoes/socks etc. And in all honesty for the girls probably pretty close only I don't do it all at once but add the shoes and tights and other accessories... and I too love Gymboree.
