Doing any crafts with the kids for Halloween?

Anyone doing any crafts with the kids for Halloween or fall?

We are making Pumpkin, bat, and ghosts out of construction paper. They are already cut out, the girls just need to decorate them. I also made some black cats, with long tails as well.
The Germans decorate with kites for fall (I'm not sure why...) so we also made construction paper kites for the front door.

okay Karen... what do you carve in the pumpkins? Jim's Mom didn't do Halloween with them either, and had huge problems with me at first because I do with the girls. But she didn't do pumpkins or anything...
so do you still carve them like jack-o-lanterns or do you do leaves and such?

We did jackolanterns - thats the fun part of the kids doing them.

Kate just colored on hers but Alyssa cut hers (I wasn't there last year so I don't know if dad cut or Lyssa cut)

Last year was the first year they did them. I know there are places nline that have templates you can print out of different things you can carve into them.

cool... curiosity answered. Tessa carves hers with Dad's help normally, Sammie draws the face for Jim to cut out and Karah just colors hers.... which reminds me I get to gut the pumpkins this year. I so wish Jim was here to do that part... YUCK! Pumpkin guts!
