My poor nephew!!!

My nephew's kitten was at the vet getting spayed. The procedure was done yesterday afternoon. Today the vet called my sister to tell her when they went in this morning to check on her, she was dead. They don't know what happened. My bil will stop by the vet's office to find out what happened and to see if they took proper care of her.

My nephew loved that cat!!! She slept with him and was a very cuddly cat. I played with her over labor day weekend when I was down there and she seemed like a very healthy cat as far as I could tell.

That i so sad. Probably a complication with surgery.

I called my sister yesterday evening and she said he is ok..he cried a little. They went to Walmart last night so I'm sure that cheered him up a little bit and I'm sure he bought something (he has some money saved up) or they bought him something.

I'm guessing it was either an infection, blood clot, or some kind of allergic reaction to something that killed Sophie. Poor thing!

My neighbor had a dog who died after getting neutered. It does happen, but thankfully not frequently. I hope our nephew is doing okay.
