Names for Grandparents

I grew up calling each of my grandparents by a different name but I've known other people who refer to all of their's as "Grandma" and then their name.

So what did you call your grandparents growing up and what do your children refer to their grandparents as now?

My mother's parents (dad & stepmother) are refered to as "Papa & Nana" and her mother was "Memaw"
My father's parents are "Grandmom & Granddaddy"
I also had a great grandmother that was always "Grandmother"

My kids refer to my parents as "Grammy & Grandpa" and Brenna knows Shane's parents as "Mamaw & Papaw".

My mother is called MiMi.
My inlaws (fil and step mil ) are Grandma Marie and Poppy.
My Mil is Grandma Linda

Growing up my grandparents were called Nana and Grandpop (Mum's parents) and Grandma and Granddad (Dad;s parents)

My kids call their Grandparents Grandma and Granddad, altho they qualify it by saying "Your Mum and Dad" when talking to us

We will also be called Grandma and Granddad in a few months time (Trista's Mum is Nana)

My mom's parents were Big Daddy and Nana. My dad only had his mom and she was grandma.

My kids call my parents pawpaw and grandma (they did that themselves). They call Billy's parents grandma and grandpa Barnes. My inlaws want to be called something else (pa and nana, but no way, they have yet to ACT like grandparents... )

The inlaws are Grandpa Ron and Grandma Melinda.

My Dad is pawpaw from Dylan and just Grandpa Chris from Austin. My mom was Gramma from Austin.

My Dads mother the kids call Grammy
My Moms mother was Nana

My dad's parents were Granny and Pappy.
My mom's parents were MawMaw and PawPaw.
I also had a greatgrandmother that we called Granny Smith.
My dad was never called anything because he passed away when my nephew was 3 weeks old. When we talk about him now, though, we call him Grandpa Harry, but I KNOW he would not have been called that.
Emily called my mom Mimi, and my nephew called my mom Grammie.
Kyle's dad was Papa and his mom is Nana.

My grandparents were Papa and Nana and Grammy and Grampa.

My parents are Meemaw and Papa and BH's parents are Meme and Pawpaw. My birthmother and stepdad are MawmawGrams and Grampa Tom.

Yammie and I had Omi and Opa (mom's parents), and Grandma and Granddad (dad's parents).

Joey now has:
My mom: Grandma Gum
My dad: Granddad
My step-mom: Baba
My MIL: Grandma
My FIL: Grandpa

my parents are grandma and grandpa
mil is grandma
fil and step mil is grandpa and granny(her doing)

i like my brothers mil's names... bubba and opa i like the sound of it, russian

My dad's parents were Pa and Dean Dean. My mom's parents were Pa and Granny.

My inlaws are Mom Mom and Pop Pop. My mom is Nana. My step-dad is Paw Paw. My dad wants to be called Pa Dean (at least that's what my brother's kids call him), but we've always refered to him as Grandpa Gary.

My mom's mom is Grammy...my grandfather passed when my mom was 6.
My Dad's mom is Grandma & his dad was Bumpa.

My dad & FIL are Grandpa, MIL is Grandma & my mom is called Nana...though I think of her more as pain in the ass.

I called my grandparents grandma and grandpa.

My kids call their grandparents grandma and grandpa.

My in-laws want to be called Nana and Papa and we fight that all the time. (They try to get the kids to to say it when we are not around) The boys don't call them that anymore, but Leah still does.
