Kimmer! Please read

Emily has green goop comming from her eyes and her voice sounds really rough. Both started at the same time, so I am assuming it is related. She was fine this morning at church, then this afternoon it came on all of a sudden with a bit of a cough thrown in for good measure. She isn't acting sick, her eyes are not pink or red. I asked her if they itched or hurt and she said they didn't. Any idea what this could be?
They had been with my Dad all last week. He goes to the gym every morning, so he took them with him and brought them to the child care room while he did his workout, so maybe they cought something from there?

It could be a sinus infection.

I didn't think a sinus infection would make her eyes goopy.

Her cough is getting worse right now, plus her eyes are starting to get red around her tear ducts.

I had pink eye a couple of months ago,( the first time I have ever had it) I still have the drops, but I don't want to give them to her because I don't know if that is what she has and I also don't know if I can even give it to her safely. I guess we will be making a trip to the doctor tomorrow instead of going to school.

Kyle had a sinus infection last year and the goop came out of his eyes because his head was so infected.

She is getting over a cold...

Also, with the pink eye drops, kids get a different strength than adults, so don't give her yours. Emily and I had pink eye last year, and her drops were not as strong as mine.

Logan used to get like that and it was his sinuses being so full. I would take her in just to be sure because she could use something helping clearing them out if that is what it is too.

I'm going to call in the morning to see if I can get an appointment for her, unless by some miracle all of this goes away overnight.
She is sleeping right now and snoring. She always snores a little, but this is loud!

All of this came on so sudden! We have never had either of them have stuff come out of their eyes before. I hope y'all are right and it is just a sinus infection and not something wrong with her eyes.

Her sweet little voice is now scratchy and hoarse...

for Emily and for Mommy Tessa had an allergic reaction to something earlier this year and that is what she did...

Poor lil thing!

I had a sinus infection last year too and I thought I had pink eye as well, the doctor just said that I had so much congestion that it had to come out somewhere. Gross I know..

Logan has been stuffy off and on for a couple of days. He has a lot of post nasal drip last night and this am and his belly didnt like it. Yuck but he is keeping water down so I know its the congestion and not a tummy bug.

Yep. Sometimes that happens with a really bad cold. I'd check in with your ped just to see if there's anything they might recommend. With Lauren's cold, the green stuff only lasted a day. We kept going with fluids, encouraged her to sleep whenever she wanted, used tylenol for the aches and pains...... we had to go on antibiotics though.... she had pneumonia too. (When my kid does it, she does it up GOOD! )

I have an appointment for Emily at 2:30.
She wanted to go to school today, so I let her go. She was acting fine, but she can only speak in a wisper and was coughing really bad last night. I gave her some cough medicine so she could rest, poor baby kept waking up...

I will let y'all know what the doctor says.

My poor baby!
She has a throat infection, ear infection, eye infection, and bronchitis! All of this started yesterday! She hasn't even had a fever!
She had a cold last week, that's it! She was getting better! It was only sneezing and a runny / stuffy nose! How did all of this happen??? She is running around wanting to play.

Kimmer? Any words on how all of this came on without me knowing about it? Is there something that I should have looked for? (I feel like the worse mother in the world.)

The doctor gave her D-Tann, Amoxil, Polymyxin B (eye drops) and an inhaler that has to be ordered and we won't have until tomorrow.
