Snow Day #2

And of course I didn't know anything about it until after the alarm went off and the entire house was up at 6:00 am.
I have about an hour to wait and make sure that the babysitter can take all the kids today because I have to work. I'm terrified of driving in this mess and it's worse than yesterday since now all the snow on the roads is compacted into big icy spots. Our parking lot here at the apartments is in terrible shape. I could hardly walk across it to check the mail yesterday so I'm sure after a good freeze last night, it is a slippery mess... thankfully, there is no parking place directly behind mine so if I slide and hit anything it will be the dumpster and I don't think I can do a lot of harm to it.

Good luck today. hope the sitter was able to take the kids and you make it to work & home safely.

Hope you made it around safely yesterday... It's a shame that everyone has to travel on snow days. It would be so nice just to have work called off everyday there was snow on the roads.
