Christmas Toy FLOPS and FAVORITES

We didn't have any big flops thankfully. Haley did have one pair of jeans that didn't fit... strange since they are the same size and brand as her faves.

Zach got a decent amount of toys including a Nerf Big Bad Bow which I thought he would love (he does like it) but his favorite items seem to be his paper & crayons and playdough.

I could have given Gracie some boxes and paper and she would have been thrilled. Other than her Dora blanket and Magna doodle, all her gifts are still in their packaging.

Liz, Zach got the Roboraptor last year and while he thought it was cool, he NEVER plays with it! On the rare ocasions that it gets pulled out, he doesn't even get the remote... just plays with it like any other one of his plastic ones. That has been a big shock for me... he absolutely loves dinosaurs.

No gifts have really been flops although they did get some Magic Sand that will be going back to the store and Legos from my Bmom that will be going back as well. Otherwise everything is well loved so far.
Favs:
Zachary's is the mini fridge my parents bought him and I am sure that Bailey would say the same although he was VERY excited about his new alarm clock!
Emily and Payton's favs are their Baby Alive dolls and make-up stuff. Easy enough.

Flops... None so far, but the girls didn't get much

Favs... The kitchen! Absolutely without a doubt. All three girls have played with it pretty much nonstop since Christmas morning when we have been home.
Tessa's fave is her new digi camera. I got her a good Kodak digital, because she is always stealing mine. She has ran through about 8 sets of batteries since Christmas.... Thankgoodness today I went and bought some digital batteries (I didn't know about these.... mine has a permanent rechargeable).

They didn't get as much as normal, I scaled back a lot this year but I think that what they got they liked. Tessa got 2 DS games, puzzles from her sister, art supplies, and some little pet shop stuff plus her Camera. The little girls got the kitchen with a ton of stuff ot go with it (dishes food etc), a word launcher, one baby doll each, and a clickstart computer. It was the perfect amount with the clothes they got, they opened presents long enough to be happy, but not so long as for the little ones to get fed up.

Let's see, no real flops just yet...


Hits:

Aaron- his MP3 and the nerf cross bow my best friend bought him.

Kevin- His electric guitar (wtf was I thinking?!?!) and his MP3

Olivia- 3 story doll house and this store set up thing I found, it has the cash box, signs for a store and price tags, she LOVES to set up a store and we all have to go through and buy stuff.

We don't have any real flops either and I think it helps cause we scaled WAY DOWN this year. (Ok maybe dad's screw up of the portable MP3 thingy instead of a portable DVD player was a flop)

Peyton loves all her toys. She makes her way around everthing she got every day. Um If I had to pick one I'd say the Vaccuum from Grandma was a flop - she tries but can't seem to move it but in a circle so she gives up easily.

Kate leves everything her sister got. But she loves her make-up, polly pocket and moon sand (which is Alyssa's)

Alyssa got a billion crafty things and a keyboard all a big hit.

Transformers figures, those suckers are hard to put together. Took me awhile to do it myself.

LOVES

He loves his Gamecube games, basketball set, and his wrestling ring. he got much more this year because of his birthday being in 10 days before Xmas. Next year we will be toning it DOWN, way Down!! haha
