What did YOU get for Christmas?

I am also very greatful this year. Certainly not as important as yours Jen but none the less. I am greatful that I got to share my christmas with someone worth sharing Christmas with! Very happy about that...

This year was a very good year for me as well as my family. I got a bonus at work and was able to get a WII 2 days before Christmas!!!

I hope everyone was able to have a wonderful holiday and family and friends....

my husband bought me a very nice cross necklace, massager (because I've been wanting one for a while) and perfume...... and the kids got me a new set of brushes because i keep losing mine!!
We also got new heavy towels (the inlaws)... a new clock and electric can opener from my sister's family. We had a pretty good Christmas!

I got the usual clothes, and from the kids I got a Remington Wet 2 Dry straightener! Man that thing is awesome!

From my parents I received a $50 gc to Starbucks , $150 gc to Kohls (already spent-LOL on a new stereo, Nike's, heated mattress pad and a soft blanket) and some other small items.
From John and the kids a Starbucks gift pack with a mug, coffee and Biscotti.
From Will I got my beautiful aquamarine pendant necklace.

Well, Billy and I agreed to really limit the gifts between us because we are about to do some major updates to the house next month. But then it turns out he spent way more than I did.

4 sets of pjs (I really needed them)
A new ottoman for my dressing area (but it's ugly and I have to exchange it. )

Then the kids got me a book light, tons of chocolate goodies, and a bread box (?)

My parents bought me a new bread machine that makes gluten free bread, $100, and then they paid to have our garage doors fixed.

My inlaws got me an ugly pair of pjs and a big bag of Godiva coffee, and my best friend got me a gift card to this store that has all the things I want for the bathroom redo.

I did pretty good!

Jim- The Complete Rogers and Hammerstein DVD set

His Parents- $50, which I used to buy a new clock for my living room. Looks kind of like a tabletop grandfather clock

My dad--- nothing.... he didn't recognize my voice when we called on Christmas either, but I got to hear all about the expensive presents he and Mary bought one another

Tessa made me a plant sticker at the craft center
Sammie made me paper kites (construction paper folded and taped) and a megaphone..
Karah gave me sugars of course....

One of my friends is making me a painting
Grannie Annie gave me new pjs and a robe.

that's it this year... But I got to talk to Jim for about 30 minutes, and he got to see the girls on the webcam. That was my best present, hearing his voice....

I got chococlate covered carmel corn form Mike & Mel, hat, gloves, scarf & picture snowglobe form Alyssa - she also made a votive thingy at school too that was pretty cool.

From Mil & SFIL I got bath rug, table cloth, pices to the christmas village, and a rug for by the front door.

From FIL & SMIL I got BBW Japenese cherry tree bath set

From Peyton & Katie I just got to watch them open and got lots of hugs & Kisses.

From Kev - nothing material. But we had an amazing night.

i forgot to wrap a present for me under the tree, don't let me forget that next year ok??

Al went shopping on boxing day and got me four pairs of pj's and three pairs of work pants! for an amazing deal!

santa also got me a pair of mechanics gloves, i love them!

oh, and dh is not forgetting to remind me that i have recieved a trailblazer with a bug guard and mudflaps (even if i am the one making the payments)

I got a stand mixer (wanted for atleast 10 years), a georgous sweater from old navy, Tim Mcgraw cd, tanning package, and a frist christmas ornament all from Wayne.

From his parents I got a coffee set, candle set, and a $50 GC.

Logan made me a special ornament too!

This was the best Christmas ever!

The girls got me a giant framed Marilyn Monroe pic.....its sooooo gorgeous!
Brad got me a necklace and ring. I had picked them both out a while back...and he actually remembered. He also got me Yankee Candle & Bath & Body Works stuff and a Starbucks card.
My mom got me the newest John Grisham book and had him sign it for me. Its so cool because her boss is good friends with him so he took it to his house and had him sign it for me. I love it. My mom and dad got me a really cute little pink toolbox filled with pink tools too.
I know i got more but I have Maci throwing a huge fit right here beside me so I am going to have to stop. Ugggh.

I bought myself a 07 Yukon SLT the week before Christmas! (I have leather seats!)

Santa (I have NO idea WHO it is) gave me $50 and a note. The GM at work called me into his office to give it to me and told me that he was asked to give it to me and that he could not tell me who it was, but someone wanted me to do something for myself with it. It was very sweet!

From hubby and son: a thingie to make caramel apples (an Apple Dipper), and a new George Foreman G5 grill I broke my little George Foreman when we moved, so I've been desperate to replace it.
From mom: a necklace and earrings set, glass cake plate with lid
From dad/step-mom: personalized Yellowstone coffee mug, two necklaces, a pair of slippers, glass cake plate with lid (I get to brave Walmart's return line for that one - and I'm gonna get a small frying pan cuz all I have is big skillets )

I know there was more, but I'm drawing a complete blank at the moment.

From my husband: Spa gift certificate a device to hook up my MP3 player to my car stereo, a new Alabama (Crimson Tide) insulated coffee mug, lots of Godiva flavored coffee, awesome peppermint lip balm (Bigelow) from BBW, a Villeroy and Boch (French Garden) pitcher--I love this pattern, and every year he gives me at least one piece from this collection, a More Organized Mom calendar--technically from Travis--(Roxanna turned me on to these calendars--love them!), a pair of pjs that I LOVE, also some socks and BBW antibacterial hand lotion (both in my stocking), panties (technically from Emily) and chocolate.
From MIL a new Lane chair for the computer desk--love this--it's leather and so comfy, two cute sweaters, two pairs of pjs, socks, and a Villeroy and Boch (French Garden) souffle dish, and a CD of various songs from the 80's--Winger, Poison, etc.
Emily also gave me a little ring she bought for me with her own money--it's from the dollar store, but it's an Alabama ring and so cute. She was so excited, and it was really sweet of her. She also made a calendar for me at school, and each month has a different picture of her. I love it too!
My tutoring student gave me a spa gift certificate (to the same spa where Kyle got one).
My sister gave me diamond loop earrings, $50 Macy's gift card, a shirt, and a Roxy perfume gift set.
My friend Brandi gave me a mini photo album, the kind with a picture frame in the front.
On New Year's Eve I will exchange gifts with my best friend.

Tk gave me a $100 voucher to a massage center, rick gave me $30 worth of book vouchers (guess which one is working ), Des and I stopped giving each other personal gifts a couple of years ago bc we both have enough 'stuff'. so this year "Des" is getting a fancy new BBQ and we went out today and bought "me" a new TV cabinet.

This way the house gets stuff it needs and we don't end up with a bunch of stuff we have nowhere to put.

Des is also painting some more of our house, he did our bedroom yesterday and will be doing the rumpus/family room in the next couple of days. Our TV cabinet won't be here for about 3 weeks so that works out well.

Matt and I agreed not to exchange gifts this year. For some reason there really wasn't anything either of us wanted. The only thing I'm waiting for is my Cleveland Indians tickets.. and they haven't gone on sale yet for the 2008 season. Just the home opener. I'm not about to go to the opener this year.. it's March 31st!!!! BRRRR!!

Matt's mom bought me the new George Forman G5 grill, and a blender.

My Dad didn't do gifts this year, he's not doing so well.
We haven't exchanged gifts with my Aunt and Uncle yet.

even though my husband and i both agree not to get each other anything this year he went ahead and did sooo.. i was spoiled this year.
