Is this for an infant or an older child?

Things to check for when looking at strollers are...
height of the handle... I had a stroller that killed my back because I had to hunch over to push it.
ease of folding... one handed folding is absolutely the best!
Will it accomodate an infant car seat... a lot of models will allow an infant carseat to snap in backward facing.
Does the back recline adequately?
Do you like the way the storage trays are set up? Is there a cupholder, key tray, etc.
Is it too bulky to get in and out of your trunk easily?
And always push it around the store a little when trying it out... make sure the wheels don't try to spin on you, that it provides a smooth ride, and that you just like it overall.

lightweight

trust me,... what you should be looking for is a lightweight stroller. Easy to fold, easy carrying and manuvering. Obviously look out for safety features, but dont be fooled by brand names,... look into getting whats most convinient for you and your baby

Re: Stroller recommendations?

I recently purchased an Englacha II. It is very convenient because you can attach just about any name brand car seat to the stroller. It also has a swivel seat so you can face your child away from the sun and wind. I love this baby travel stroller and it's very stylish as well.

Re: Stroller recommendations?

The ones with the infant car seat are nice. Be sure to play with them in the store and see how easy it is to get the seat in and out of the stroller. See how easy it is to fold and how it steers and pushes.

Re: Stroller recommendations?

The one we got is for our baby that isn't even here yet LOL

It is called Chicco, and it is pretty nifty and light weight.

Re: Stroller recommendations?

I had a Costco stroller when my oldest was little. When I had two, I switched to a tandum stroller. Now both my kids are older, I keep the tandum stroller at home for long walks (for exercise) and the cheap umbrella stroller in the car for trips when the oldest can walk, but it will be too much for the little one. At some point when the baby is much older or a toddler, the cheap unbrella strollers are nice, because they are so compact and light weight. They don't offer a lot of support for a younger baby, imo.

Re: Stroller recommendations?

I had a tough time deciding this too. I ended up choosing an Englacha II for its quality and versatility. It gives me the ability to attach my child's car seat. The seat even swivels. I highly recommend this car seat.

A stroller that comes with a car seat, light weight and most importantly have working tyres that is easy to push around.

I would recommend the City Mini by Baby Jogger, you can also get the car seat adapter.
