Signing

I don't think I've mentioned it before but Gracie's sitter started teaching her to sign early last summer. It's cool how quickly she picked it up and there are some words she doesn't even say without signing as well. Since she has a large vocabulary and is VERY vocal, she doesn't actually sign any words without saying them as well though.
The words she knows well are...
more
cup
please
thank you
apple
candy
flower

The top 4 are the ones that are most used

My kids really did not care much to sign --- Lauren talked early and it seemed I pretty much knew what she wanted. We are currently working with Ryan in Speech & Occupational Therapy on using signs..... more, stop, all done are the ones he knows.... little bugger only uses them in therapy....... only my kid, right?

Kate knows some but they are from play group. We sing songs and learn signs for some of them.

I always wanted to teach but life happens.
