Hello everyone, I'm Max's dad. Max was born back in August 29 of 2007 and has undeniably re-purpose my life. I found out that Max was on the way back in December 06 while I was getting ready to buy a jeep.
I happily threw all the new car brochures away and started preparing for Max.

So... little Max is now five months old and seems to be developing beautifuly. But I want to make sure that I give Max all the development opportunities that I can. I hold him as much as I can because I'm already sad that he's outgrown his newborn clothes--too fast.
Does anyone have any information, checklists, guides or advice on what babies should be doing at certain times? When should I introduce certain toys?
Last night he was playing with stackable colored rings on a yellow plastic post but he was grunting and hitting the pole with the rings, he was obviously frustrated but why? Sometimes the rings would make it on the post and sometimes they wouldn't. What does a five month old have to get frustrated about? What should I do about it? Or just watch him... I don't want Max to stress. I want his learning experiences to be as pleasant as possible--as pleasant as I can make them. I just need to know if I'm missing anything with him.
thanks.
