The Ex Dating...

Have you had to face your ex dating yet? How did it affect you?

For me, considering I wasn't the one that ended the relationship, it was heartbreaking to find out he was seeing someone... even more so because it was only about 6 weeks since I had moved out. If you couldn't call what I had been in a "depression", you certainly could after that news. I'm still uneasy with the thought of him with someone else but also have accepted it as part of life and know that eventually that will go away. Probably only hasn't because I have not become involved with anyone myself.

Elaine, I can imagine it was heartbreaking. I don't know how I would deal with that if I were in your shoes.

It would be difficult. Honestly though men run off because they are scared or afraid to commit 100%. You deserve better than him. You deserve to be treated like a queen. Keep your spirits up- you'll find someone who deserves to be with you.

I prayed that my ex would find someone when we split up! He's a great guy and I want him to be happy. But then again, my situation was totally different from most.

I do know that when a former fiance' started dating someone after we split up and I saw them out in public, it made me feel strange. Fortunately I was on a date myself, so I didn't dwell on it. But as totally irrational as it sounds even to me, it really pissed me off that he had moved on so quickly!

I have yet to see Stan with another woman .. I'm sure the time is coming, but hopefully it'll be AFTER the divorce is final .. for his sake!
