Ally is undoubtedly a tomboy at heart. She would rather play rough than play with dolls. But she has turned into a clothes horse! The only thing she asked her grandparents and Aunts for for Xmas and her birthday were clothes and shoes. I was never much for being fashionable - I buy what I like that is comfortable. But Ally is obviously going to be diffferent, and that's fine. I want her to look nice, but I really don't know the first thing about what styles and such are "fashionable".
How can I educate myself on this? I want her to be fashionable if that's what she wants, but she wants me to help her pick out stuff and I haven't got a clue. She is still at the age where my opinion matters!
And I would like to keep it that way! So, how do I go about figuring out what all the little girls are wearing these days? What brands are "cool" right now? What are fashion no-nos for the fashionable 1st grader?
