Have you told your family that you're pregnant? What was their reaction if you did?

Yeah...my Mom seemed less than thrilled...the ILs were very excited.

Why was your mom less than thrilled if you don't mind me asking? Glad the inlaws were happy.

We're not even on speaking terms with some of Mikes family just because we didn't want to go to thanksgiving(Materialistic SIL wanted to show off her new basement and furniture and got mad that we weren't interested, even though it's clear to everyone that we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. DH's family is Latin, so it's not an important holiday to them. She just wanted to impress people with her money and got mad when we weren't interested). I doubt we will bother telling any of his family until we have to because they don't like children, and don't plan to have any.

My family will be happy for us, but I haven't gotten around to telling them yet.
