Hey everyone!

Just trying to drum up some ideas for a family vacation sometime this year. Whenever...no specific time, no specific purpose. Just wondering if there's anything interesting & family friendly that you and your family have done for vacation!

The kiddos are probably too young for Disney right now (22 mo & 3 yrs), sooooooooooo..... I was hopin' ya all would have some good ideas!

I gave up even trying to plan one....It is never convenient for Adam's company. Doesn't really matter when it is either. He was supposed to go to Arizona with me this summer for my best friend's wedding and then he and I were gonna stay out there a bit longer, but now they don't know if he can get the time off. Glad they give him vacation time since he is never able to use it....Can ya tell I'm bitter?

It seems the only thing we ever do as a family is to visit other family members!

Well I have no ideas for family vacations. We will be doing weekend camping for motorcross races. But Wayne and I are going to Louden NH for the nascar race then end of June. I dony follow it but him and his family do. Then we are trying to plan a trip to Mein at the end of the summer just us 2.

Personally - I don't think they are too young or Disney. Alyssa's 1st trip - she was 2.5 and Kate's 1st trip was at 6months (the week before we flew up to Canada )

I think there is PLENTY to do at that ae. and they have ways for you to ride the "adult" rides (one at a time though)

Not sure if we will take one or not. Kev told Kate we'd go once she's potty trained - so needless to say we haen't went again yet.

Emily was 2 the first time we went to Disney, and then we went back just before she turned 3 and again after she turned 3. We had a great time with her there at that age. But I have to say she doesn't remember much about going, which kind of makes me sad!
We always do beach vacations. We rent a condo, so it's as much like home as possible, and we have been doing this since Emily was 7 months old. It's comfortable, we have a washer and dryer in the condo, a kitchen (if we want to cook), and we stay right on the beach. We go to Gulf Shores, Alabama, which might be too far for you. I am not familiar with the North Carolina and South Carolina beaches, but I am sure some girls on the boards are. I also know my sister and her family went to the beach in Delaware or Maryland a few years ago and loved it. We just prefer the Gulf Coast (white sand) to the Atlantic Coast.
