Okay hi guys i am new to this and i have a question for you guys i am currently pregnant with my 5th child ( ill sum up the other pregnancys in a nutshell my son is 8,my oldest daughter is 7 -they both were vaginal births and my twin daughters are almost 6 .in less than 2mths - they were c-section bikini cut)
well, here i am pregnant again still newly im close to 8weeks and i had an ultrasound this monday the ob/gyn told me that the babys heart rate is perfect all looks good exept i have some bleeding in the sac around the baby he said that its common amongst alot of women and that i needed to avoid strenuos activitys until the bleeding stops because i can have a miscarriage but if i follow his orders i will be fine....Now has anyone ever had this issue and if so was it a successful pregnancy??? also i was curious to know how many c-sections can a person have w/o there being any major complications and how long is the wait to become pregnant again after a c-section?

well... Sorry I have no advice on those situations. I just wanted to say welcome! I'm sure someone on here will be able to answer some of those questions.

I don't know anything about the bleeding you described. I say definitely do what your doctor says.
As for the c-sections, I had two, and personally I had a much easier time recovering after the second one! My grandmother had four c-sections back when you were cut from hip to hip and from just underneath your breastbone to your vagina, and she did fine. I am sure you will be just fine with the c-section. Your doctor will cut you in the same exact place, which is good. My doctor did have to deal with a lot of scar tissue in my incision area when he cut me the second time, but the truth is, I think him doing that made it heal better this time. I did not have nearly as much pain in the healing process or after in my incision area.

I've had three c-sections myself...my dr said he wouldn't recomend more than four. And I was told yu should wait at least a year after a section to get preggers again, cuz it takes several months for it to fully heal inside, and you want to give it that time to do so or it could increase your risk of rupture.

Oh, and welcome to BabyU! It's really great.

I had three C-sections within 3 years and ended up having hernia surgery 6 months after my last C-section, so I know I had them too close together. Not sure how long you have to wait though.
