Textbooks...

Okay, so I got spoiled in the states with my textbooks. I always bought them used.
I don't have that resource here so I had been paying UMUC's price for new textbooks.

THankfully a friend told me about half.com.
I just ordered my textbooks for next term (well 2 of them) and it saved me right around half the price for each book, and that is brand new, not used! I would have bought used, but the prices were the same.

So if you need textbooks you might check there before paying full price

I will keep that in mind, for sure.

Luckily, my program has all of the readings/materials online so I don't have to buy them.
How sweet is that?

Re: Textbooks...

Of course we won't talk about the tuition or the resource fees....
It might have been cheaper to buy the texts!

Re: Textbooks...

Too true~ I just got my statement for my student loans.... Ugg. I will have my associate's degree at the end of this term and I am $13,000 in debt for tuitition, books and fees. I just keep reminding myself that it will be worth it in the end.

Re: Textbooks...

I always tried to buy my textbooks on half.com. Of course that only works if the books you need are not a new edition. Ecampus.com is also good.
