I'm reading Celebutantes by Amanda Goldberg and Ruthanna Hopper. It's fiction about the week leading up to the Academy Awards. Both the authors have parents in the movie business, so they know how life in Hollywood is. It's not the best Hollywood book I've read, but it's fun to guess who the real life inspiration for the characters are.

Re: What are you reading? (March 2008)

I found an older Johanna Lindsey (my fave romance author) on my last trip to the thrift store that I plan to start tonight after the kids go to bed. It's called Silver Angel and is about a woman sold to a harem.

Re: What are you reading? (March 2008)

Nothing now. I recently read Love in the time of Cohlera, and I read two Carlton Stowers' books, Innocence Lost and Sins of the Son. I have been busy putting this book (the one I helped write) together for the publishing company, so I have only been doing reading for editorial reasons lately.

Robyn, Jennifer Weiner's Good in Bed is fabulous! She has a book of short stories, The Guy Not Taken, which is also great.

Thanks Tammy!
I'll have to pick that up when I'm done with this one!

I've been waiting for Dean Koontz Intensity to be returned to the library, but it's been almost a month now and hasn't been returned! I don't want to have to buy it.. I like the library!

Re: What are you reading? (March 2008)

I love the library myself , (altho I forgot to return 3 books I got out befor I went to hospital so have to return those and pay the fine, I'm a baaaaad girl)

Robyn I love Dean Koontz myself

This month I've reread the Earth Children series by Jean M Auel (The Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of the Horses, The Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage and the Shelters of Stone) I can't wait for the 6th of final book to come out. (I should say, can't wait for the 6th book, sorry it will be the last in the series), I've reread 3 SciFi novels and a couple of romances I've got to get to the library or the second hand book store I'm going nuts without something new to read.

Unfortunately since I was off work for several days I have so much back office paperwork to catch up on I just can't seem to get home befor they close :
