We're poopin on the potty!

ok so I know she's almost 3.5 - but I decided that I wasn't going to pus ANY of my children into potty training. I encourage and praise and reward - but I will not push. So Lyss awas like 3.5 when she was completly trained and it looks like it might be the same for Kate. We've had 2 days of NO ACCIDENTS and 2 (maybe 3) poops in the potty. It has been so nice to not pull icky undies of her.

She's wearing TP to bed though. We tried undies a few times but she's wetting the bed. I can deal with that - but to be day trained - I'll be extatic! (sp) She changes her own TP in the am and puts her undies on for the day. I am only a butt wiper after poopies Never thought I'd be so excited.

So to reward her today I took to wally world and got her a cheap barbie. She was happy. I am happy. All is good.

That is great! Yay Kate!

We just went and purchased a potty for Grace today. I like you, will not push, but do want to introduce her to it and have it available for when she is ready.

Definitly Elaine. I think I first introduce around 18 months. Peyton's pee'd on the potty once - But it was more a fluke than anything else (I was undressing her before a bath and plopped her on the potty just for kicks )

Yeah... Gracie is 22 months old and showing definite signs of being ready. She'll start telling me she is poopy about 15 mins BEFORE I even have to change her diaper.

YAY, KATE! WTG!

I agree. I didn't push either of mine, just had the potty ready. Drew was almost 4 before he was poopy trained (he was afraid he would fall in the toilet! ) Ally was almost 3.5. I'm convinced that they will do it when they are ready. Pushing them just frustrates them AND you.

i didn't push Logan either, even though it felt sometimes like it would be forever in a diaper!

Hope things are still going as great with the potty training!! It is so great when they finally start doing it.

Oh and definately don't think nothing about her age... Devin was 4 and 1 month before he actually started. It was a long frustrating road but suddenly he started doing it. They all go at their own pace!

We are completly potty trained! Only had one accident and that was because grandma couldn't get her outfit of fast enoug for her.
