Easter Meals & Fixin's

Easter is just a few weeks away and I would love to hear your favorite Easter recipes! I'm looking for some fresh ideas -- a bit tired of traditional ham and mashed potatos. How about a spiced up ham recipe or some new side dishes?

Thanks!

Pasta Salad

This is my MILs recipe and very good, if you like garlic and raw brocolli. I think it would go well with ham.

1 lb. Tri-color pasta
Follow cooking instructions on label

When pasta is cooked, drain and add:
½ cup parmesan cheese
Crush one clove of garlic over the pasta while it is still warm. (or use minced garlic from the jar.

Pour 8 oz. Wishbone Dressing
Add the following to the dressing;
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper

Refrigerate over night:

Next morning add:

½ cup green onions
2 cups broccoli florets – uncooked
1 grated carrot - uncooked

You may add anything you wish.
I sometimes add a little more dressing if needed.

That pasta salad sounds good. I think I will make that this year instead of the ones in the boxes.
