Easter is coming early this year!

What kinds of things do you put in your children's Easter Baskets?


This year I am keeping it fairly simple. I got Zach & Brenna each a doodle pad and some crayons (Grace got the fat ones and Zach got twist ups), Haley is getting a new cosmetic bag with a few items in it and a bath puff, and they will all get lots of candy. I'll probably pick up one more small item per child but nothing big. I don't have the money for it and two of my kids have birthdays coming up.

I don't plan on doing anything big. My kids ball season starts in about 2-3 weeks so they always get something for baseball and softball from the EB

I have never amde the girls a basket. They get bombarded at everyone else's house that I never felt a need.

HOWEVER - Last year Lys asked why doesn't the Easter bunny come by us. I didn't have an answer. SO - This year my plan is to do small baskets for them and then get them a Power Wheel car (there's got stolen like 2 years a go)

i have no idea yet... i know that they're not getting a lot of candy because it doesn't get eaten!!

I never do alot of candy, i wanted to get Logan a new bike but I can do that and not do it for the other 3, or get them something as big. He will get his bike just not for easter. I do lots of little things the kids like. Sam is into make up, hair stuff, bath stuff ect so I will do that for her basket with a few of her fav candies thrown in, Logan will get bath stuff, and maybe a dvd. Not sure how Wayne wants me to do his kids. I think he does alot of candy for them. But I always do an easter egg hunt too and will again this year.

They will get a little candy and then probably Travis will get some toys and books and Emily will get books and a game for her Leapster.

Or we may just do a little candy, a book for each and then get them a new picnic table for outside.

Mine get one big item (like clothes or a movie), a few little "fun" toys and some favorite candy for each of them. Ally usually gets a stuffed animal, as well. That's about all cause I am trying to cut down on how much they get for holidays and save the big stuff for Xmas and birthdays.
