Mine would have to be the mom that turned her backyard into a circus and the family members dressed up like animals it was great

Mine would have been My 10th birthday party... I had a slumber party that included t-shirt painting and pizza. My mom wasn't big into having birthday parties so this was one of the few real parties I had and because we moved so often, I wasn't invited to many either.
I did get to go to a "Masked Ball" as a preteen which I thought was a really cool idea... It wasn't done the way I had pictured though and was mostly kids dressed up and just hanging out.

Since my birthday is just after Halloween (Nov 5th), my mom did a combo Halloween/Bday party for me when I was 13. It was so cool!
