Baby gift question

Both of Jonathan's teachers are expecting babies in May, and I'd like to get them something, but I don't know them really well. I don't want to spend a ton. One is having a boy, and the other doesn't know what she's having.

Any ideas?

I agree gift cards are always a great idea that is what we did when my oldest daughter katherines teacher was pregnant the beggining of this school year.

I was going to say diapers and wipes. You know you can never have too many of either one! Gift cards are nice, too, even if you did WalMart GC because you can get so much more for your money there--wipes, diapers, baby wash, formula, etc are all cheaper at WalMart.
Things I really liked when I had babies:
cloth diapers (to use as burp cloths)--with Emily someone gave me some cute girly ones with flowers and with Travis my mom bought some cute ones for a boy with trains and stars
disposable diapers and wipes
practical stuff like gas drops (I like the Walmart brand best) and diaper rash cream
small sizes of practical stuff to go in the diaper bag--like wipes, diaper rash cream, etc.
