Re: Idea for a preschool Mother's Day craft?

When I had two and three year olds, I would do handprints and this poem

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.

But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.

So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.

There wasn't a lot of involvement with the kids though (other than making their handprint with paint) because they were so young.

I fyou can get baby food jars, you can have them make paper weights. Just fill the jars with colored stones and glue the lids on. Rick still uses the one Drew made him when he was 2!
