Breakfast Meltdown

Geeze what a way to start the day! We happened to be out of milk and poptarts this morning so I looked around to see what I could make Zach & Brenna for breakfast. I ended up making cold plates with sliced apples and cubed cheese & ham. Seemed like a good little breakfast to me although not quite what the kids are used to. Zach had (and is still having) an absolute meltdown though. He's crying as if I'm trying to force him to eat lumpy flavorless oatmeal and insisting that he isn't hungry... this is after he bugged me for 15 mins to get out of bed and make him some cereal half an hour before I had to be up. I told him that he doesn't have to eat (I know he eats breakfast at school as well as home) but he does have to sit there until breakfast is over.
