Does yours know more than they let you know?

With Alexis and Devin, they always knew more than they would let me know.... if that makes sense. The teacher tells me how well they are doing but they don't want to tell me.. lol. I will ask Devin what a letter is and he will act like he doesn't know it but yet, he does well at school when learning them. Alexis was the same way in preschool and sometimes she still will do that. I just wondered if this is just something a preschooler does in general... Maybe they want to continue being babied and they think pretending they don't know will give them more attention...

That's true, my son is a really smart, in school he does everything perfectly but at home when i ask him to write alphabets or numbers he says he can't. May be in school with other children kids learn faster.
