Ya'll know I try hard not to even go there... Too many losses.
Sammie's birthday was yesterday though...

That makes today the day I allow myself to be sad and think of her twin. I do my best to not think of him when Sammie has a milestone. I won't let it rob me of my joy in her... Tonight though, I just saw him in her. I thought of my sweet, quiet serious little girl and wondered how different she would be if he had lived. I bet he would have been the one who could tease the laughter out of her.

Anyway... I guess I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my Baby Boy. I won't ever forget him, even if everyone else does.

You brought tears to my eyes when you said "I saw him in her". I do the same with the boys with losing Brandon. I look at them and think "you should be here doing these things to".
