Bumbo?

Does anybody have one of these? Did you really use it? How long did you use it? Is there anything similar that isn't as pricey?

I didn't think it was worth the money, but they have one in the nursery at church and Sammy loved it. I just hate to pay the full price for one. Any thoughts?

Had one. LOVED it. Of course, I had a massive Reflux baby, so it was da bomb. Check ebay. I actually sold mine to my neighbor.

I know there was a big debate about the saftey of them (tipping over, etc.). BUT if you read the info on the box and the inside flyer AND use your common sense (use it on the FLOOR and NOT raised surfaces, etc....) it's safe.

I found one on craigsist. He's in it now. And I'm sure I can get what i paid for it back out of it if he decides he doesn't like it.

They really are a very nice thing - especially for babies w/reflux.

I bought one for Jaedyn and Jimmy who's 5 really found the proper use for it:

Naked 5 year old sits in it and upon pushing and pulling himself out makes farting noises. I have it on video it's the most hysterical thing you've ever seen.

Karen!!!!

Jonathan seems to think ours is his personal place for sitting all of his puppy dogs. Of course, he thinks the same thing about the car seat, the play pen, the swing....

Karissa LOVED IT! We had her in it from about 4 months. She's just now getting a little big for it. But we use it in the Baby Swimming Pool now to sit her up. It's perfect. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I never had one for my kids, they came out with the once my kids were too big for it....but my dayhome provider has one for her baby and she loves it

We love ours, too, but I actually have the Bebe Pod by Prince Lion Heart...it has a tray & a toy.
