Re: Scout sells 17,328 boxes of cookies
I'm impressed! At first though, I thought that the number was from presales... where the girl goes out and sells on her own. The girls in our troop could usually do about 400 - 600 boxes a piece that way. After presales is when the troop decides on a number to order for booth sales and whatever is sold is divided between the girls who worked and added to their number. So, while I'm impressed, it wasn't just this girls determination that did it... It was first of all her leader who should get the big Koodos (or should I say Do-si-Dos?) for holding a booth on a 24/7 basis, then her mom for allowing her to participate in so many! ...something that many troops won't allow because it takes from other girls' opportunity to participate.
